Sales Conditions
Our terms of sale are applicable according to the decrees of Tunisian law setting the conditions for the exercise of activities relating to the organization and sale of travel or stays. The purchase and booking of our services is reserved for users who have read and accepted the general terms of sale. The refusal of any clause will result in a legal cancellation of the purchase or booking. Our general terms of sale are provided to the user during the booking process and are available on our website.
Autre Tunisie takes care of its clients after completing police and customs formalities, upon their arrival at the airport designated as the departure point, in the circuit for which they made their reservations. This coverage ends after the return transfer to the airport and assistance with departure formalities.
Booking and Payment
The booking is effective from the validation of the booking form via the website www.autretunisie.com and the corresponding payment, according to the terms below.
Payment Methods:
Booking more than 35 days before departure date:
When booking, payment to Autre Tunisie of a deposit of 35% of the total amount of the reserved service. The balance of the price of the reserved service must be paid, without reminder, at least 35 days before the departure date, failing which Autre Tunisie would be entitled to terminate the sales contract without the buyer being able to claim reimbursement of their deposit or any compensation. In this case, the cancellation will be considered as initiated by the buyer.
Booking less than 35 days before departure date:
When booking, payment to Autre Tunisie of the total amount of the price of the reserved service.
Our rates, denominated in euros (€) or dinars (Dt), are given per person based on accommodation in a double room.
Offer Validity
Regarding stays, our offers are subject to availability at the time of booking. The applicable rates are those displayed on the Autre Tunisie website on the date of your booking. They do not include: personal insurance (possibility to subscribe to cancellation and/or repatriation insurance via our partner April Voyages during booking), personal expenses (drinks, supplements related to chosen rooms, laundry, telephone, fax, deposits for lending various equipment, etc.), deposits, fees or penalties incurred following a violation of the laws of the countries concerned, optional excursions and activities not mentioned during booking, tips and generally any service not expressly included in the particular terms of sale of the reserved service.
We do not know the exact schedules of flights taken by the various participants at the time of distributing our travel offer. Consequently, you should consider that the first and last day of the trip are generally devoted to transport and/or installation in the arrival and departure city of the reserved service.
The price per person and per circuit is fixed based on a minimum number of participants appearing in the travel offer. The price per person and per excursion is fixed based on a minimum of four (4) participants. The prices of excursions and circuits on demand are fixed according to the participants (number, age of children) and the period (high/medium/low season).
Cancellation
Autre Tunisie reserves the right to cancel a reserved service, at least 21 days before the departure date, if the minimum number of participants is not reached. An alternative solution may be offered to you. If it does not suit you, your payments will be fully refunded, without other compensation.
Autre Tunisie cannot be held responsible for the consequences of events external to its activity:
- Failure to register including for delay in boarding the outbound flight.
- Failure to present passport or presentation of non-compliant identity documents.
- Unpredictable and insurmountable incidents or events such as: war, political troubles, riots, strikes, bad weather.
- Cancellation imposed by circumstances having a force majeure character, for reasons related to maintaining the safety of travelers, injunction from an administrative authority.
Modification
If Autre Tunisie judges that the safety of travelers cannot be ensured, it reserves the right to modify the planned dates, schedules or itineraries without participants being able to claim any compensation.
Cancellation Fees
In case of cancellation by the client, Autre Tunisie will apply the penalty scale below:
- More than 29 days before departure: 10% of the booking amount
- Between 29 and 21 days before departure: 25% of the booking amount
- Between 20 and 14 days before departure: 50% of the booking amount
- Between 13 and 7 days before departure: 75% of the booking amount
- Less than 7 days before departure: 100% of the booking amount
Cancellation less than 7 days before departure, non-presentation at the departure location or non-compliance with administrative requirements: 100% of the booking amount. In case of non-presentation at departure, we reserve the right to cancel other reserved services. In case of transfer, the transferor must inform us by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt at least 15 days before the departure date, specifying the name, address, number and date of issue of the passport and the telephone number of the transferee, justifying that they meet the necessary conditions to make the trip. Prior to this, the transferor or transferee will be required to pay administrative formality fees of a flat rate of €50. Additional insurance is in no case refundable or transferable. Any interrupted, abbreviated trip or any service not consumed by the client will not give rise to any refund.
Accommodation
According to international customs, rooms are made available, except local exception, from 1 PM to 12 PM, regardless of arrival and departure times. We reserve the right for technical reasons, force majeure or due to third parties, to substitute the planned hotel with an establishment of the same category. Our prices are contractual rates. It is therefore impossible to take into account certain promotional rates practiced on site on certain dates, consequently, we will not take into account any claim or refund request. The descriptions are established with care, nevertheless they do not have contractual value and we cannot be held responsible for modifications occurring in the meantime. The number of meals depends on the number of nights spent at the hotel. Full board begins with dinner on the first night and ends with breakfast on the last night. Half board includes breakfast and one meal per day (dinner in general). Drinks are only included when expressly mentioned.
Air Transport
Autre Tunisie cannot be held responsible in any way for problems related to air transport (Delays, strikes, luggage, etc.). As a receptive travel agency, our services are sold without flights. You organize your own transportation to the place where the trip begins, and to your home on return from the trip, we recommend that you buy modifiable and/or refundable services and plan reasonable transfer times between home and airport.
Upon express request from our clients, we ensure their connection with our ticketing partner in France: Aigues Mortes Voyages.
Services intended for the local market, to countries other than Tunisia, generally include flights: it is advisable to refer to the particular terms of sale of each service.
Ground Transport
Autre Tunisie reserves the right to adapt the type of vehicles used for circuits and excursions, according to their nature and the number of participants.
Responsibility
Prior to booking and departure, the client must inform themselves with the competent authorities (embassy, consulate, etc.) of the police, customs and health formalities required for their trip. They must complete these formalities themselves and ensure that they comply with the requirements of the relevant authorities throughout their trip, under their full responsibility both for themselves and for the people accompanying them, particularly minors. We point out that these formalities are subject to change. The information we provide for guidance only concerns adults and French nationals.
We cannot under any circumstances be held responsible for the consequences of force majeure events, fortuitous cases or the act of third parties. We disclaim all responsibility in cases of modification or cancellation of services due to climatic conditions or events beyond our control.
Insurance
Autre Tunisie has subscribed with the Tunisian insurance company "El Amana Takaful" an insurance contract No. 30130000337 guaranteeing the pecuniary consequences of its general civil liability.
Autre Tunisie has signed with Chapka Assurances, Insurance brokerage company, an affiliation agreement.
Autre Tunisie assumes the role of "insurance indicator" within the meaning of article R511-3 of the Insurance Code. As such, the role of Autre Tunisie is limited to connecting the insured and the insurer.

Complaints
Any complaint relating to a trip or stay must reach us, accompanied by supporting documents, no later than 30 days after the date initially planned for the end of the service, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. In case of dispute, the Courts of Tunis will have sole jurisdiction.
