Photography
Archaeological sites and museums authorize, for the most part, the taking of photographs subject to the payment of a tax called 'Photo right'. Military buildings and armed forces must not be photographed. The use of drones, for the purpose of taking aerial photos, is subject to prior authorization. A file must be submitted to the Ministry of Equipment and various administrations (Ministry of the Interior, Defense, Transport and Tourism), at least thirty days before the start of the shooting. Non-compliance with this authorization obligation may result in controls, fines and the seizure of undeclared equipment. Any offender against the provisions of the ministerial decree governing the rules of photography in Tunisia can be prosecuted, in accordance with the legislation in force.
Upon your arrival
Upon your arrival, a member of the Franco-Tunisian team of the Autre Tunisie travel agency will organize an information meeting concerning the progress of your tour, your stay and/or your excursions. Specific information on our recommendations is presented in the technical sheets of our tours. Furthermore, a list of recommended equipment is sent to trek and camel-ride travelers for a desert adventure, accomplished in the best conditions.
